See me in-person!
If our availability aligns and you're within driving distance, we may be able to work together in-person either regularly or in combination with virtual sessions. Some people opt to start therapy in-person to help build the therapeutic alliance and then shift to all telehealth, while others specifically prefer either the vibes that the office space offers or use in-person sessions as a momentum boost to get out of the house. Others pop in once a year just to make sure I'm not a hologram. Neither telehealth nor in-person sessions are universally more effective, but one may be a more ideal fit for you. If you're not sure, let's talk about it in a consultation!

The Space
CoRise is a co-working space for mental health providers, which means it's filled with members who rent rooms that don't belong to anyone in particular, and that might mean we're in a different room from one session to the next. All rooms are more or less the same: generic artwork, cozy couch and chair, windows for natural light that no one can see into, and lots of open space for puzzles and art while we talk.
Fun fact: many people prefer to sit on the floor but are too shy to ask. If that's you, this is not only your invitation to do it but my offer to join you.
Privacy & Accessibility
The office is located on the second floor of a building in a business complex near the Ontario Mills mall. Parking is ample, there is an elevator available, and there are no stairs to the entrance of the first floor.
All rooms are soundproof, as the space is designed to be HIPAA compliant. While the therapy rooms lead out to a common area, no one can hear our session, and anyone you may see is a clinician unaffiliated with my practice. The receptionist will greet you and ask who you're here to see so that I can be alerted that you've arrived, but no one has access to your personal information but me.
